• Rioja red wines are made with Tempranillo grape (around 80%) and blended with Garnacha
  • Garnacha is a red grape variety originally from Spain, known as Grenache in France.
  • Garnacha is blended with Tempranillo to provide the Tempranillo wines with more alcohol, spicy notes and lighter tannins.
